RUG CLEANING PROCEDURES
Augusta RugWorks does not use automated machinery in its rug cleaning process. We are machinery assisted, however, the variable control point of rug cleaning are better served using the traditional hand wash method. Pre-rug inspection and evaluation with the customer is first to assure expectations are met successfully.
The type of cleaning, dry versus wet, semi wet, emersion extraction, etc., is determined at rug evaluation.
Thorough vibra vacuuming to both sides followed by a pre-clean conditioner and extraction is performed.
Our cleaning method is employed with follow-up grooming before transfer
to dry room. Rugs are flat dried on specialized air tables surrounding
and floating rug with gentle conditioned air currents. After drying,
the rug is final vacuumed and brushed with final treatment given to
fringe, prior to being rolled and wrapped for delivery. This process
takes anywhere from two days to seven days depending on rug requirements,
i.e. moth proofing, wool guard treatment, urine decontamination, etc.
Pricing for rug cleaning is standardized based on rug size. The only price add ons are for additional services such as moth proofing, wool guard fiber protectants, rug repairs, storage wrapping and rug padding.
Additional services pricing will be known and acknowledged by customer before cleaning. THERE WILL BE NO UNEXPECTED COSTS AT TIME OF PICKUP/OR DELIVERY.
***Call for pricing, please have your rug size available.
